7^th Annual Celebration in south Minneapolis

Celebrate Mexican Independence Day in a friendly and family environment

12:00 to 6:00 p.m.

General Information

Registering hours: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (if you want to participate in the parade, please see parade information for details)

Hours of operation of the celebration: 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Event location: East Lake St., between 2^nd Ave and Portland Ave South

CAR SHOW LOCATION: Fourth Ave South Between E. Lake St and 31^st

Entrance to the car show location: Corner of 4^th Ave South and 31^st St.

General Information for your participation

License and insurance: GoLatino!/Urban Ventures must receive a copy of the driver’s license and a copy o the insurance for the vehicle the same day you make your request

The cars must stay in the parking lot until the end of the celebration

Prices for participation: (including your participation on the parade)

For a vehicle: $15.00

For two vehicles: $25.00

For three vehicles: $40.00

Prizing:

The evaluation of the prizing will be made by three representatives from the official sponsors at 4:00 p.m.

The prizing will be giving to four categories:

Ø        Best Paint
Ø        Best Hydraulics
Ø        Best Interior
Ø        Best Exterior

Only the first place from each category will be prized with a trophy form the celebration of Mexican Independence Day. All of the participants will receive a trophy for participation.

Agreement

It is your understanding that once forming part of this celebration the organization GoLatino!/Urban Ventures, it’s personnel, volunteers, and sponsors ARE NOT responsible for any damages or injures made to yourself or to your vehicle (s). You separate all responsibilities to the organization on this risk by signing your application sheet and you give the organization permission to take pictures and video form future event promotion or for trade in general.
